Welcome to Crime Stop. By accessing or using our platform, mobile application, or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the Service.
By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. When you submit incident reports or other content ("User Content"), you grant Crime Stop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.
You represent that your User Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not violate any third-party rights. Crime Stop does not endorse or verify the accuracy of user-submitted reports.
Crime Stop offers the following plans:
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew until cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Crime Stop and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. CRIME STOP DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF INCIDENT REPORTS OR SAFETY DATA. THE PLATFORM IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR CALLING 911 OR CONTACTING LAW ENFORCEMENT IN AN EMERGENCY.
In an emergency, always call 911 or your local emergency services number immediately.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crime Stop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on any information displayed on the platform.
You agree to indemnify and hold Crime Stop harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with American Arbitration Association rules.
